How to get Higher in a Butterfly Jump?

Hi! I recently learned how to do a butterfly jump. I'm not joking, my feet get the 3 inches off the ground. No matter how hard I push through the floor with my feet, I can't get up higher. The mechanics of the jump are there, but the height isn't. What's something I might be doing wrong, and how do I fix it? Thanks so much guys!
