Malnourished Calfs

I have a Bison and a Muffalo with calfs, and the mothers are both lactating. Unfortunately, I took both mothers on a caravan, and it never crossed my mind that the calfs would go hungry.

In the beginning I just thought it would only progress to a mild case of malnutrition until the mothers arrived, but it progressed way too fast. And just as the caravan arrived, both calfs are downed by extreme malnutrition. I rescued them, but there’s no option to feed them anything. It says “no available food” under the option for a pawn to feed them.

Is there anything I can do to save them? I don’t have any milk laying around, but I was thinking about making some kibble (can you even make kibble without hay, because I don’t have any either)
