Is $399 worth it for premium select from Detroit to Tokyo?

We were initially looking at comfort+ for $75 each but when we were about to book it, Premium Select went down from $1,400+ to just $399 each.

We've never done Premium Select before so we we're wondering if the upgrade is worth it? If so, what can we expect?

Any insight would be much appreciated.
