Joined a Lala Company. Now regretting it and consindering career break
I interviewed for a company which turned out to be Lala gujju/baniya company. I came to know about this after I joined. Heck the team I joined. All the old folks have left. And the HR policies are so fucking stupid. 9 hours have to be completed
No Work from home and people expected to sit in office. No dedicated place for Lunch. No tea time. No documentation. Naam ke project managers. No sprint is maintained. I have started actively looking for a job.
I do feel like leaving this company ASAP as travelling is taking a physical toll on me. I have cried almost every week due to the travelling.
But all of this has made me consider whether I should take a career break
Is the job market very bad to take a career break? I really want to explore freelancing, remote/hybrid work. I really haven't gotten a chance to work on personal projects as well.
