Anyone quit zepbound because of the terrible periods?

Side Effects

I know I know, zepbound periods have been discussed A LOT on this page. I've read through so many posts and comments and didn't really come across anything helpful.

To start, I was ending my period when I started the shot. Normally my period is 3-5 days and very manageable. After the 1st shot, my period got rather heavy. Gross heavy. It also lasted 3 weeks! I had light spotting for one week and my period started back up on my normal start day (May 28th). It is BRUTAL. One night I just sat on the toilet because I was soaking through tampons/pads. Luckily, that was only one night. Since then, I'll have a random light day, a couple tolerable days and a few very heavy days (not as heavy as the bad one). I see my pcp next week and will tell him all of this.

What I'm wondering is, Did any of you quit zepbound because of terrible periods? If so, how long did it take to go back to normal? I'm so torn on roughing it out and just quitting. I don't want to jeopardize my health but what if I'm so close to it returning to normal? What if I'm not and it'll always be this way? I also haven't taken my last shot (2 days late) in fear it'll kick it back into straight drama mode. Is it bad to suddenly stop the shots like that?

As I said, I'll be seeing my pcp next week and hopefully get some answers. I'm not trying to get medical advice from reddit. Just curious about other people's experience. Please, try not to sacre me too badly! I've already given myself a panic attack over thinking it.
