Booking flights for December. Should I wait it out?

Planning for December holidays and looking at flights now. Should I wait it out? Looking at Singapore Airlines for this multi-city route:
Dubai --- > Singapore ----> Tokyo -----> Dubai

Any advise? Do you think it will now be safe and reliable to take another airline aside from Emirates / Etihad? Currently looking at Singapore Airlines and all their Tokyo to Dubai flights have a 13-hour layover in Singapore. Flights with Singapore Air are at 15,000 aed for 2 pax for our planned route as of writing. Would appreciate any of your tips considering the current situation in the GCC.
