I'm 21 and this has been the biggest thing that has happened to me
I guess from the title you can tell that I've been pretty sheltered growing up.
The biopsy has only taken place 2 days ago so I'm still stuck in this limbo of all possible outcomes. Like everyone, I feel horrible.
I am scared for me but I am way more scared for my family. My dad is older and retired. My sister is still a child. Her main concern right now is whether she'll get into a good college or not. The sole burden has been on my mom and I was finally able to share some of it with her now that I have graduated and had my first adult paycheck.
I dread the thought of a bad result mainly because how it would effect them. If god forbid I have it, I don't want my parents to waste a single penny on me. I'd want their money to spend on important things like my sister's tuition, car payment, my parents' prescription, etc
