**"Bandar" (released on June 5, 2026)** tells the story of Bobby Deol's character, a TV star falsely accused of rape by his ex, inspired by a real case where a man spent 32 years in jail before exoneration. Male victims of false accusations rarely get public sympathy or mainstream representation.

**If men don't stand up for themselves, no one else will.**   
  
**I'm urging men to watch this with family, friends, and children. Especially watch the movie with the females in your life, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters or even female friends.** Tell them that this is something really important to you and your feelings as it highlights the struggle of men. The emotional, legal, financial, and social destruction faced by falsely accused men is real; reputations, careers, and mental health can be **permanently ruined** even after innocence is proven.

**Many Feminists have publicly come out saying they refuse to watch Bandar and are outright denying the existence of false victims.** Their argument being that acknowledging false accusations automatically undermines genuine victims, and this minimizes real suffering of men. Dismissing innocent men's destruction as "collateral damage" is morally indefensible. When career, family, and mental health are obliterated, saying "at least women get justice" doesn't cut it.

**I also request women who do believe in false cases against men by women, to watch the movie along with friends \[especially women\] and family, or if not, just by yourself.** 

See the online reaction: "False cases make people doubt genuine victims." Yes, false allegations can hurt public trust. But this instantly redirects away from the immediate victim: the innocent man accused. **Supporting genuine victims AND falsely accused individuals aren't contradictory. A fair society cares about both.**
