Assuming you like gold watches, which watch model looks better in steel than it does/would in gold?

I’m interested in buying a steel watch but the problem is each time one catches my eye, the gold version just looks so much better. (And it is better because it’s gold duh)

Which luxury watches in your opinion look better in steel or titanium etc. than they do in gold even though you generally prefer gold watches?
