23F Looking to Volunteer Somewhere in India Before Starting My Next Job. Any Recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 23F and planning to leave my current job around September. Before jumping into the next phase of my career, I'd like to spend a month or so doing something meaningful and outside my usual routine.

I'm interested in volunteering with children, education, underprivileged communities, animal welfare, environmental projects, or anything similar. I'm open to traveling anywhere in India and am currently looking at September/October.

If you've volunteered before, I'd love to hear about your experience. Which organizations would you recommend? What was the work like, how long did you stay, and what should I know beforehand?

If anyone has done something similar, please share your experience. And if anyone is planning a volunteering trip around that time and would like to connect, feel free to reach out. I'd especially appreciate hearing from women who have done solo volunteering programs.
