Advice for VIP special event days

I am attending my first ever VIP experience in a few weeks (June Hello Kitty Day). I know that there is a specific entrance for the pre-game event. Anyone have any general advice on where to go/how to enter the park? I’ll be taking the Larkspur ferry to the Embarcadero, and walking to the park, and should arrive around 10:30am. I attended the Hello Kitty Day last year (regular ticket), and it was packed and crowded, so I am assuming this year will likely be the same.

Also anyone who has purchased VIP experience tickets before… is it normal for your tickets in the Ballpark App to not show a barcode or any indication it’s a VIP ticket? I only ask because I’m also attending a game in August, and the barcode is already showing up in my app for that game.
