TL;DR is this a German nymph? (Sorry for the crappy pics, I couldn’t get clearer ones with my phone.)

Been living in this apartment for six years and have never seen a roach. Because I’m terrified of bugs/mice, and live in an older apartment building, I’m pretty diligent about taking the trash out daily, never leaving food out or dishes in the sink, and overall, maintain a tidy apartment.

Five weeks ago, I went into my kitchen to make coffee \~9:30 am and spotted one juvenile German roach chilling on my countertop. Panicked, deep cleaned the apartment, checked behind all major appliances (didn’t see any other roaches or eggs), sprayed a bunch of Raid, and (bless my ignorant heart) thought the problem was resolved. Two nights later around 3am, I spotted another one (an adult this time) on the same kitchen counter. One meltdown and deep dive into this subreddit later (i.e., two days later), I sprayed Alpine WSG in the kitchen and put out some Advion gel. The exterminators came a couples days after that and sprayed an IGR + laid out several glue traps. They said they didn’t find any evidence of an infestation in the apartment and suspected that the roaches might be coming from neighboring units or the walls.

One week later, the exterminators came back, checked the traps, laid out several more (we went up from 8 to 12 total traps and my apt is less than 500 sq ft), and, because all traps remained empty and I hadn’t seen any more roaches, they said they were even more confident in the idea that I just had a couple stragglers come in. They did another round of IGR and sprayed Alpine around/outside my front door. (Should note that around two days later, I noticed a couple dead roaches two doors down from me, not sure if that was due to the Alpine around my door or not).

After almost five weeks from the second and last roach sighting, I thought I was in the clear until I saw THIS turn up in one of the glue traps near my bed. Not sure if it’s a German nymph (please tell me it’s not), and I’m even more concerned that if it is, then that means an egg hatched in my apartment and more roaches are forthcoming. Any and all help identifying the bug in the pics (and advising on what to do next if it is a German nymph) would be much appreciated!

Please tell me this isn’t what I think it is (German nymph)
