Lawyers of this sub, what are ones rights if they get arrested in case of Nepal?

If there is one thing I learned from true crime documentaries, it is to never speak to the police on your own, always ask for a lawyer. But these are all western cases, the police themselves ask the arrested if they want a lawyer or not.

Do we have the same system here in Nepal?
