The current iteration of the Salomon Adv Skin 12L pack is TRASH

I first got the 12L pack in 2019. It became my most loved piece of gear. It went so many places with me. I ran thousands of miles with it. Over those miles, it got beat up, tore on branches, dunked in water and mud...and repaired. But it just couldn't keep going. I recommended the pack to everyone.

So I got a new 12L pack this year. It's total fucking trash. The materials have changed. They made the front pockets smaller, the side pockets smaller, the pouch through the back smaller, the redesigned shape of the back zipper pouch is comical and worse, they removed the inner separator from the bladder pouch hence removing extra storage space, and the fit is all different.

It's a cheap imitation of what was once great.

Fuck this pack. Don't buy it.
