Give the UFL Developers Time Until the Major Update
Dear UFL players,
There have been a lot of bug reports and complaints about the game recently. I'd like to summarize the current situation for everyone.
With patch 0.73, many of the game's mechanics were negatively affected. This has been acknowledged to some extent, and the developers are currently working on fixes and gameplay balancing. It has been confirmed that the main fixes will arrive with a major game update. It may happen when the current Battle Pass ends, but that is only my personal speculation.
For now, improvements and fixes are being released gradually through smaller patches.
Many players have also been criticizing the recent player packs, but in my opinion, F2P (free-to-play) players have never had it this good. Nobody is stopping anyone from purchasing Stars packs with real money either.
Of course, we're all waiting for the introduction of the 90+ player exchange feature.
Personally, I packed three STAR players from Squad Swap. The current Nike Event is probably the most free-to-play friendly and easiest event we've had so far. You can earn some excellent players there, and you can also create two Nike Event packs through Squad Swap.
In my opinion, the gameplay is already improving. It still needs balancing, especially regarding defending and interceptions. Through balls are working better now, and scoring with finesse shots is no longer as easy as it used to be.
I encourage everyone to provide constructive feedback and continue reporting bugs. Some of the posts I've seen seem a bit strange, almost as if they are trying to promote GOALS or Sensible. Many of them describe situations from UFL patch 0.73.0 rather than the current state of the game.
If anyone thinks I'm biased in favor of UFL, they can read my detailed post about the current state of the game here.
