Seeking Girl friendish position - long post :)
SEEKING VOLUNTEER FOR THE POSITION OF:
✨ Girlfriend-ish Person ✨
Applications are currently open for one (1) adventurous woman interested in joining a life that somehow includes gardening, road trips, random history lessons, international travel, building things from scratch, and occasional controlled chaos.
About the Position:
Applicant should understand that this is not a normal life.
Some weeks may involve growing vegetables.
Some weeks may involve discussing Japanese culture, ancient Greece, WWII history, mushrooms, philosophy, religion, or how to build a greenhouse in rural Mexico.
Some weeks may involve all of those things before lunch.
Requirements:
I’d rather be honest than pretend I have a perfect checklist.
What I’m really hoping for is someone who believes that good relationships are built through honest conversations, mutual trust, and showing up for each other even when life gets messy.
Someone who enjoys adventure, but also understands that the best part of any trip is having the right person beside you.
Someone who doesn’t mind that I can spend hours talking about history, plants, books, future dreams, or some random fact I learned three minutes ago—and who has passions of her own that she’ll share with me too.
Someone who wants to explore, laugh, learn, and occasionally figure things out as we go.
Someone who appreciates both deep conversations and complete nonsense, because life seems to require a healthy amount of both.
Seeking Someone Who:
More than anything, I’m looking for a partner.
Someone who wants to build something meaningful together instead of performing a perfect life for everyone else.
Someone who can laugh with me when plans fall apart, talk things through when life gets hard, and celebrate the small victories along the way.
Someone who believes love isn’t just a feeling you stumble into—it’s something you choose, nurture, and grow together over time.
Someone who wants a relationship that feels safe, genuine, and a little bit like coming home.
Offering:
In return, I can offer a genuinely open heart.
Loyalty when things are easy and when they’re not.
Honest communication, even when conversations are uncomfortable.
Encouragement for your dreams and the kind of support that says, “I believe in you” and means it.
Campfires, road trips, homemade meals, random flowers found during walks, and someone who pays attention to the little things because you matter to him.
Additional Benefits:
• Built-in tour guide for historical sites, old bookstores, weird museums, and places nobody else stops to visit.
• Can identify plants, discuss gardening plans, and get excited about things most people walk past.
• Will happily hold your hand while planning ridiculous future adventures.
• Comes with enough stories to fill a book because he’s literally trying to write one.
• Strong mountain-man energy with the emotional needs of a golden retriever.
Risks:
• May stop the car to investigate an old cemetery, historic marker, interesting tree, abandoned building, or unusual rock.
• Has been known to start projects before finishing other projects.
• May randomly suggest moving somewhere, building something, growing something, or traveling somewhere.
• Occasionally forgets where he put his keys because he’s busy thinking about the future.
Previous Reviews:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“Will help you carry heavy things.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“Loyal to a fault.”
Final Note:
I’m not looking for perfection.
Truthfully, I’m looking for connection.
A woman who wants to share a life, create traditions, chase adventures, weather hard seasons, and build something that feels bigger than either of us could create alone.
Someone who can become my favorite person to tell things to, and who gmight eventually see me as her favorite place to come home to.
If that sounds interesting, applications are now being accepted.
