First time Hot-tub buyer questions

Just looking for some direction... I've never owned a Hot Tub before and don't know anyone with one so other than googling around I'm struggling to find someone with first hand experience.

Looking at buying a 5-6 person Hot Tub, just myself and my partner but we want to be able to host and have room in the tub.

I'm located in Ontario Canada, winters get cold and snowy. Recently bought a new build house, Electrical Plug pre-installed with the house in the back already. They're doing the landscaping shortly and they're willing to put a Concrete Slab down for the Hot Tub (Quotes aprox 2k).

Is a 10x10 Concrete Slab sufficient for the Hot Tub?

Should I bury the electrical cord underground to connect to the Hot Tub?

Is there a general recommended brand or one to avoid?

Is there a cheaper or more reliable method than a concrete slab?

Whats the general monthly cost on electricity?

Any newbie advice or hindsight info is appreciate, thanks for your feedback!
