Not feeling prepared for staff accountant roles as auditor.

Trying to switch from auditor at the big 4 to industry and the only roles that seem applicable are internal audit. Other roles like staff accountant require GL close experience, posting entries in ERP systems etc.

How do you convey your audit experience for these other types of roles in industry.

I don’t want anything to do with internal audit or SOX or controls.
