Trying to make sense of my Shadar Kai run

I am having my first Shadar-Kai tav, with the modded Dark Ranger class and have been enjoying it so far. He even has his raven summon. (Wish there was acknowledgement with Who He Was but the mods are doing a lot already on console).

I wasn't sure whom to romance at first; with the polymod trying with a few companions, I think he is attracted to Karlach as she has such a big bubbly personality despite her backstory. It's really cute to see them together.

Would it be lore friendly that Karlach makes my Tav feel more alive although he is a Shadar Kai who is supposed to feel "nothing"?

Does it make sense for my Tav to somehow enjoy parts of the material plane? Does it make sense he kinda likes some food (as Karlach does) and likes petting Scratch and Owlberto?

Would it make sense for him to go to Avernus with Karlach and not go back to Shadowfell yet after all the tadpole business? Won't the Raven Queen be mad?

Just trying to make sense of my roleplay while being lore friendly. Any advice appreciated 🙏🏼
