I need help in making decision......

Discussion :doge:

I am 12th pass student, I scored 87% in my Karnataka State Board Examination. I was JEE aspirant who dreamed about NIT/IIT from class 10th, but there was no help from my school side and by the time I got to know it was too late, like it was mid-end of 12th. I found that my school's teaching is not sufficient for any competitive exams but I was helpless because my school timing was from 8am - 7pm with lot of works to complete. But I tried studying for 3-4 hrs for JEE but I couldn't manage both which lead to burn out in 1 week. Because of increasing of pressure of boards and school work I thought I would take one drop year for competitive exams and just focus on my boards. Our school's highest JEE score was 95%ile and he was PW online student. I scored 32 and 35 %ile in 1st and 2nd attempt of JEE mains. My KCET rank is expected between 45k - 65k. As of past year trends I don't think I can get admission in good college from my KCET rank. The management quota seats are too expensive like 30L for 4 year and I don't think even taking loan will be worth for those colleges. Now I have 2 options left either take drop or take admission in management quota in mid-tier college. Till now I was in the thought of drop year but I'm scared that improvement from 35%ile is very rare and my relatives are putting pressure on my parents to not to leave me for taking drop. I need some suggestions and Thank you all in advance....
