[Auckland] Submitted wrong type of police certificate but got DQ'd anyway, expecting IL soon
The Auckland consulate general requires a police certificate submitted by the NZ Police themselves on our behalf (the Section 14 "overseas" form, if anyone is familiar), but we accidentally submitted an MoJ criminal record check. We got DQ'd with that and then went through with the NZ police cert after the fact when we learned about our mistake. The catch (or maybe benefit) is that we never technically needed to submit the police certificate ourselves, just maybe upload the proof of the request (if we even needed to do that). So what is the best course of action for us? Upload the confirmation email from the NZ police / the request form to CEAC? Just bring it to the interview? Do nothing?
