how do you adjust from pc monitor to big tv latency?

i immediately notice the minor latency whenever i play (on ps5) on the large screen tv. i keep dropping combos, even in practice mode. how do you adjust? maybe i have to do the combos by muscle memory? because i usually wait for certain cues before inputting some buttons. and since there’s latency on the tv, the cues take forever.

or perhaps there’s a setting on the tv to deal with this, because i brought my ps5 to a friend’s house last week and we played on their large screen tv. didn’t have this issue. some help would be nice.
