How to come out to your parents when youre already nearly 2 years into medical transition?

Advice Needed

As the title says, I have gotten pretty far along on T while living with my parents, but I haven't explicitly told them that I am trans. I use "explicitly" specifically because being on T for almost 2 years; naturally they have seen the changes.

And they have pointed them out too throughout. Within the first 3 months my father outright asked me about the pitch of my voice, then some months later my parents pointed out the facial hair (and continue to do so) (btw its like peach fuzz i dont have a giant beard or anything), then my dad has asked at least three times if I'm on testosterone (i denied it every time lol)

Despite them seeing the changes, they never actually addressed it with contempt, or forced me to change. Even before T, when I suddenly began wearing mens clothes, binders, and trans tape, while they were surprised, never discouraged me from doing it. My mom would wash my binder when I didn't clean it and return it to me, there was never a time where gender affirming care was taken from me, thrown out, etc. She even asked me for help on boob tape once lol.

Coming from an immigrant family where culturally queerness and being trans especially is looked down upon, had I been in an average family from my culture, I wouldn't have even gotten away with wearing mens clothes pre-transition.

Obviously, these are pretty blaring signs that:

  1. They certainly know (or have a good idea whats going on)

  2. Theyre not entirely disapproving of it

I guess at this point I've been really fighting on whether to come out or not because despite all these postives, there are all these negatives that scare me off from attempting to:

  1. Despite passing as male in public spaces, my mom is a little more defensive (and loud) about me being her daughter. Once again- shes seen the changes, shes asked as well if I'm on T and if I even still have my period. If she has to ask that she already has her answer. I would have brushed it off as her not knowing/unsure and just going with what she knows, but considering she has been talking a lot more about me being "her only daughter", they're starting to feel like intentional reminders than solely instinct.

  2. Once again, pretty progressive for carribean parents, they have never intentionally disrespected or misgendered specific people to their face or behind closed doors if they present more queer. But as a collective, they have different said a lot phobic things that turns me off from coming out. And also, my dad has explicitly told my younger brother that if he did turn out gay he wouldn't mind but he reminded him that he would still go to hell (of course worded in more flowery language.)

  3. A part of me is worried that they may not be as accepting due to the fact that some extended family and friends will not be accepting. I'm not going to say out family is full of gossip and drama, but it's definitely there, and coming out would be a real test of if they'd be able to handle that pressure or maybe I'm just not putting as much hope into my parents as I should.

And once again, I'm just scared, it's a daunting thing to do, and I know many will say that I don't have to, but considering that I live with them and go out with them and think there is a chance at success (among many other things but I don't want to make this post too long), I think not coming out to my parents is like the one thing I need to do. Acceptance or not, having a straight answer helps determine how I plan out the rest of my life.

So with that in mind, I would really appreciate any tips on how to procced with this information I've given, because I've been mulling on this for months now.
