IMAX 70MM/IMAX Dual Laser GT 1.43:1

Can we have this format here?

Unfortunately, no :') Currently, we only have 2 IMAX Commercial Laser here, and it is located in MOA IMAX and in Evia IMAX. IMAX Commercial Laser is limited to a 1.90:1 aspect ratio, so we cannot get any more frames like 1.43:1 or the 70MM film format.

IMAX 1.90:1 or LieMax

Based on this website, we can also see that Dolby Vision or Dolby Cinema will have a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, which is Flat. And I really do hope that we can have that format here, since 1.90:1, or what we have in our current IMAX theaters, is very similar to the Flat aspect ratio, so they will be almost identical. You can experience the IMAX format in Dolby Atmos cinemas (A-Giant Trinoma) or other 1.85:1 aspect ratio screens.

IMAX Theaters

IMAX MOA (of course, top notch). If you want the best viewing experience, you definitely need to watch it here.

IMAX Evia? Yes, you can too, but if it's operational when this film releases, because right now, idk what happened to IMAX Evia. They're the 2nd best IMAX theater here in the Philippines since they're using an IMAX Commercial Laser projector too, with a 12-channel sound system.

Would I recommend other IMAX theaters other than these? Maybe yes if you cant visit MOA IMAX, but in IMAX SM NORTH EDSA? Nope :') Go for Trinoma A-Giant Instead. Or try MOA, give it a shot xd

Non-IMAX Theaters

Trinoma A-Giant - Yes! Since right now they have the best Dolby Atmos setup, and if the film will be presented in a Flat aspect ratio, then their cinema is 100% capable.

Greenbelt Cinema 1 or 2 (either one where they screen The Odyssey) - Flat aspect ratio too, yes. Huge screen, but not as huge as A-Giant Trinoma. It is equipped with Dolby Atmos, good-sounding speakers, plus a nice sub!

Power Plant Cinemas - Yes? Because most of their theaters are in a Flat aspect ratio and have Dolby Atmos. But the thing here is that their projection is still dim for me, and their screens are smaller compared to the usual Ayala Malls cinemas with Flat aspect ratios.
