Am i cooked? help finding team comps for makoto

Hi, new player here. so I've pulled makoto not knowing his team comps, and i looked online and saw that ange is pretty good with him so tried to pull for ange but dumb me I've been pulling in the chance banner and i lost my rate off to ann.... should i just give up or are there any other alternative? i'm on SEA server so the ange banner is still up for about a week
