My first JoWo pen hasn’t arrived yet and I’m already drooling over all the nib options… help me choose!
Im trying to stay budget Conscious and purchased a Asvine j16 with a JoWo flex nib (I’m aware it doesnt flex and it’s just soft).
the real reason I bought it is because I’ve been eyeing different job options for JoWo housing and have landed on a few options which I can’t decide on:
-
FPR ultra flex Nib ($115 Cad + shipping)
-
Kanwrite Steel EEEF ultra flex nib ($40 cad + $30 shipping)
And now the rabbit hole I fell into today
-
TITANIUM Kanwrite Flex Nib ($70 CAD + shipping).
-
TITANIUM Kanerite EEF regular nib ($60 Cad + Shipping)
what’s the deal with titanium? is it worth getting it as a flex nib If it’s already soft. Mind you I only use flex nibs that can get shading out of my normal handwriting. I write in spencerian so it’s dangerous to flex the tines parallel to how they open.
