Digital Passport when buying from a dealer.

I’ve searched the sub already because I didn’t want to pose a question that’s already been asked.

I got my VC yesterday after buying from a dealer I’ve worked with for a few years. I registered the watch under my own account and got the extended warranty but was not able to claim the passport.

I spoke with VC and they wanted a copy of the invoice and a picture of the watch set to a certain time to try and have it applied to my account.

If I have the extended warranty, is it worth going through the motions of getting the digital passport?
