"Look, I was eatin’ beans out the tin, now it’s avocado"

• Dave, Our 25th Birthday (Released: June 5, 2023)

Genius Annotation:

This lyric expresses a shift from a less prosperous to a more luxurious lifestyle.

Eating beans out of a tin is often associated with a simple or frugal diet, as canned beads are relatively cheap. While avocados are generally considered a more upscale food.
