What's your view just be Objective

Coming back to my hometown after years away has brought back many emotions and reflections.Our family was planning a small get together, a chance for all of us to spend time together laugh and create memories. Naturally, we wanted my sister to be there too.But despite wanting to join us, she couldn't come because her mother in law did not give her permission. And so our family gathering will happen without her presence.What saddens me is not just her absence but the thought that a grown woman still needs approval to spend time with her own family. Watching this unfold makes me question why, in some places a woman's choices and freedom are still so restricted. It reminds me how fortunate I am to have experienced a different environment one where trust independence and personal choice are valued.

A family gathering should feel complete, but this time there will be an empty space where my sister should have been and that absence will be felt by all of us.
