No sense of future

I have no sense of future, and it makes goals and responsibilities very hard.

I can understand the consequences of my actions intellectually, but they often don't feel real until they're already happening. Future outcomes seem distant and abstract, even when I know exactly where my choices are leading.

Does anyone relate to this? Is there a name for it, and have you found anything that helps?
