Possible schizophrenia?
Hello! I.m writting this to get some opinions. I always had some mental health issues during my life, now I.m 28M. I had a major mental health episode in 2021 and I.m not sure if it can be schizo or not. For describing it: strong aggitation, suicidal thought, just thought because the only suicidal thought that I had was to throw myself from the window, but I didn.t want to do it, but my brain was telling me to do it, and the aggitation was making it worse, strong anxiety and depression. Like akathisia. Intense brain fog. And some obbsesive uncontrolable thoughts, like the thoughts were running in my mind. I was taking montelukast and stopped it because it was blamed to give this kind of symptoms. Then I started Lexapro and it helped very much but was making other things worse. Currently I.m not medicated, but I.m also diagnosed with Mast cell activation syndrome(for those who don.t know what it is, it.s a disease where you have loys of allergies and affects also the brain). Now years later, I still have episodes where I get runny thoughts, couldn.t focus on anything, loss of motivation, don.t want to see people like I used to want and spend time, and the worst part is when I get again the suicidal thought and extreme aggitation and I.m very afraid I.ll act on that and I have to leave the house because I live at the 3rd floor. Does it sound like some schizo spectrum? I also have to mention that outside I usually get better in short time, and I usually get this episodes when my MCAS is getting triggered by some alergenes. Also the doctors told me everytime I asked them that I do not have schizo. I.m also afraid because my mother has it and I also could get it.(she has altered reality thinking, believes imposible things about people and creates ireal scenarios in her head). Sorry for the long post.
