I've been working on a color identifier app and would love to get your feedback on what u think, and what would make it better for you

Discussion

Hey everyone! I've been building an iOS app that uses your phone camera to identify colors in real time. You just point it at something and it tells you what color it is.

I made it because I wanted something that actually works quickly and feels intuitive — no messing around with photo uploads or complicated menus. Just open the app and point.

It's live on the App Store now and you can check it out at www.coloridentifier.com. There's a 7-day free trial so you can properly test it out before committing. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think:

- Is the color naming accurate and useful? Like, does it give you names that actually help in everyday situations?

- How does it feel to use? Anything confusing or clunky?

- What features would make this more useful for you? I want to build something this community actually needs, not just what I think looks good on paper.

I'm a solo dev and actively working on updates, so any feedback — even the harsh stuff — goes a long way. Thanks in advance!
