Rules

Hey everyone! I'm u/sarl_com, a founding moderator of r/domainradar.

This subreddit has one single, strict purpose: tracking domain name sales.

We are building a clean, data-first ledger for both reported and unreported (private) domain sales. To keep this community high-value, there is an absolute zero-tolerance policy for general discussions, portfolio reviews, marketing, or strategy chit-chat.

What to Post

You should only post actual, closed domain sales. Your posts must fall into one of two categories:

Reported Sales: Publicly disclosed sales from major marketplaces (Sedo, Afternic, Dan, Squadhelp) or public auctions.

Unreported Sales: Private transactions, inbound flips, or confidential broker deals that won't show up on public charts. Share what you can legally disclose (Domain, price, extension, and venue).

The Golden Rule: No Discussion

To keep the feed clean for investors looking for raw market data:

No "What do you think of my portfolio?" posts.

No outbound strategy advice or general questions.

No appraisal requests.

Comments on posts must be strictly limited to verifying, clarifying, or analyzing the data of that specific reported sale. Off-topic comments and posts will be removed immediately.

How to Get Started

Post a sale today. Use a clear title format like: [Domain.com] - [$Price] - [Platform/Private].

If you know an investor or broker who tracks daily market data, invite them to join.

Help us keep it clean. Use the report button on any post or comment that isn't a direct sales data point.

Thanks for helping us build the cleanest sales radar on Reddit. Let's map the market!
