Need help with my novel about a Bohra character

I'm working on a novel where the main character is an atheist woman with a Bohra background. Her father, too, is an atheist.

Let me inform you that my book isn't against any religion or community. The character is an atheist who happens to be a Bohra.

I've completed my first draft, and I've got a couple of questions before I proceed with my second draft.

• Will I land into any kind of trouble by showing Bohras who are atheists? Trouble as in legal or physical threats.
• The father is an educated man who got deeply inspired by rational thinking and liberalism in college and chose to quit religion. Is this arc plausible for a 50-something Bohra man?
• Have Gen Z Bohra women gone through FGM?
