Nextdoor suspended my account without identifying the specific content in question. Should platforms be required to provide that information?

I'm curious whether others have experienced this.

I've been a Nextdoor member for years and rarely posted. This week I made approximately four posts over a two-day period, including a birthday gratitude post, inspirational content, and a memorial-related post.

One of the posts received more than 5,000 views, over 200 reactions, and dozens of comments within about 48 hours.

My account was then placed in read-only mode. I contacted support seeking clarification, and the following day my account was indefinitely suspended.

I was informed there was a "pattern of violations," but I was not provided the specific posts, comments, dates, or guideline provisions that allegedly violated the rules.

My concern isn't that platforms enforce their guidelines. My concern is that users should be told the following:

• Which content triggered the action
• When it was posted
• Which guideline was allegedly violated
• Why the action was taken

Has anyone else experienced a suspension, read-only restriction, or permanent ban without being shown the specific content in question?

I'd be interested in hearing your experience.

For context, I've attached screenshots of the posts and engagement that occurred during the two-day period before the restriction and suspension.

The first image is the petition I created. My goal is not to stop platforms from enforcing their rules, but to encourage transparency by requiring specific reasons, dates, and content references when users are restricted or suspended.

I recently launched a petition advocating for greater transparency in account suspensions and appeals, but I'm genuinely interested in hearing whether others have experienced similar situations.
