sober living is so irritating

trying to find somewhere in soflo that isnt $1400+ and not in a shit area is the worst part of recovery i swear LOL …trying to get out of this damn town for my job starting soon too like what sense does it make to pay that much when i have to live with other ppl and have a curfew 😭 i dont get it like when someones coming out of treatment straight from the streets! most places dont even do scholarships for sober living anymore. i just cant wrap my head around charging someone over a thousand dollars AND admin fees… one guy i called told me it was $3000 a MONTH !!! and when i was obviously shocked he said “oh dont worry i couldnt even afford it” THEN WHY CHARGE PEOPLE THAT MUCH! he was the OWNER. its so sad to see such greed in a community thats supposed to save each other.
