By now, it's general knowledge that I gave up on Fans vs Favorites after Episode 1, not only because I felt like the decision to make Aubrey a gimmick character was a cheap shot by ONC, but also because I knew that if they were willing to do something so BRAZENLY stupid in the very first episode.... that this season was going to be burnt to a damn crisp. 😕

I knew this season was burnt when I looked at the reception to Episode 2. It's easy for people to make the claim that I'm just salty because Tess and Ashley are always voted out towards the middle of the season.... but there's been a TON of complaining about the boot order this season (for good reasons) and I can't shake the feeling that I warned everybody that every final boot order ONC has ever chosen to make sucks.

I've been lucky enough to get to skip Episodes 2–11 of this season and save myself the heartbreak from having to watch ONC's personal favorites (and Ally) get far for a THIRD TIME, while the brand new characters are used as chicken feed for the story. Not just the Fans, but the guys are chicken feed too.

But I told you guys VERY CLEARLY 6 months ago that ONC can't make a good boot order. I warned you that every single boot order they make sucks. I'd like to ask you if you're still happy? ONC can't make good decisions regarding the boot order even if the season's livelihood as a whole depended on it!

I wanted to watch Rosa Maria and Aubrey play more than anything! 🥺 My heart broke at first when I found out that my two favorites, Tess and Ashley, weren't being brought back. But now that I've studied just how disappointed the fans of the characters who DID get to return have been with the season and the story up until now? I feel fortunate that Tess and Ashley didn't have to get burnt like everyone else.

You guys got your way when YOUR favorite characters got to return, when some of them had no reason to come back to play again, and now some of you are whining because they've either been sidelined by the edit, or they aren't being given interesting storylines this season.

People who are fans of Gabby, Tom, and Ally have NO REASON to cry! Ally never should have returned in the first place! Allyson Amber is a total Nothing Burger NPC, and Jared is clearly only using her as a source of rage bait (which is a TERRIBLE strategy for a financially floundering studio btw!) 🙁

You may not like to hear this: but seriously, Tom and Gabby's stories were BOTH complete before the season even started. I DO acknowledge that they're BOTH actual Favorites due to their popularity, but obviously, it's more detrimental to a character and their fans when the writers try to milk them for content when there's, CLEARLY, no milk left to be collected!

Some of the community has caught on to the reality that this season was nothing more than a "horse and pony show" for ONC to bring back all of THEIR favorite characters to play again one more time, but there are others who have, unfortunately, not seen the light. What's it going to take?

Are we REALLY going to have to wait until Episode 16 of Fans vs Favorites for everyone to finally agree that this season is full of favoritism, and careless mistakes???

My Belief That Every Boot Order is Terrible Isn't Me Being Salty; After 5 Seasons, This is a Proven Pattern 😕
