hopefully you guys can help.. i feel like the internet is fearmongering

my work has switched to glue traps. since the events of today i have refused to deal with them as i found 2 mice alive and one dead pregnant one (she was HUGE)

anyways, i saved the 2 mice and one seems fine except for maybe a dislocated elbow in the front leg. the other one is in really bad shape, his tail is obviously broken, he’s missing 2 toes and i dont know how long he was stuck. he moves frantically and all his limbs can move but he cant stand up. i have bathed them both to remove residue and they have both had water. i plan on setting up a temporary home to rehab them until they are both better and i will release them in a field out of town.

my questions are mainly about my health though. i can’t tell mice species apart, and i have some pretty big phobias surrounding getting sick. what are the realistic chances that the 2 mice i found are carrying diseases i can catch?
