How did you survive when your kids were little?

I have a 3yo, 18mo, and am due in August with my third. We hit a sweet spot and decided to get pregnant again. Now I’m wondering why i did this lol. I will always love my children but having such little kids is so taxing on our marriage, on my bloody, etc. i feel like i was so positive and optimistic after having my first, but now im dying to have a glass of wine and be done with the baby/toddler years. Idk, it’s beautiful chaos but it’s so hard to keep our flame burning, especially without a village or family around to support us.
