Is it true? Coming Soon - Only one line & one color customization?

Please forgive me if this has been discussed (I couldn't find it anywhere).

I purchased my first retail Coach bag for my birthday some weeks ago and was excited to purchase a hang tag to customize. I took some time to think about what I wanted, looked for inspiration and finally decided what I wanted. I went to the store only to be told that they no longer customize more than ONE LINE & ONE COLOR. I called a couple of stores in my area and was told that this is something new they're implementing and starting with the East Coast (I'm in the DC area).

I wanted to know if this only applies to the East Coast and what my options are if I want more than one line and one color.
