two weeks effective immediately

long story short, i have pots & i put in a simple availability request (didn’t change how many hours i was available a week, just the time of day i was) because during the summertime my pots get bad, and i needed to put my health first whilst still obviously thinking of my job as well. i added on the note section “for my disability, it worsens during hot/humid seasons” and i read yesterday that it was denied.

so, im putting my two weeks in effective immediately. no this isn’t the only thing that made me decide to do this, this store has had its ups and huuuuge downs. (5 people quit in one week) and i also was offered a better and more mellow job, that pays more then this one.

it’s only been 6 months, and ive learned a lot in these 6 months. but gollllly will i probably never ever work in a starbucks again. i just gotta think for myself, at least for once in this silly company 💔
