Anyone have experience ordering tinned fish online through Caputos?

I found Caputos ​Market a great spot to order reasonable market price tinned fish (anchovies, tuna and sardines) from Spain and france. While the fish arrives with "cold packs" I noticed a lot of stomach issues after eating the tinned fish. I'm wondering to what extent unopened tinned fish needs to be kept cold. It's possible this is due to my own issues.
