Please help - second SSD installation

Hello,

I am trying to install a second SSD into one of my free M.2 slots and I'm running into an issue where the newly installed NVMe stick isn't being recognized in BIOS or the Disk Manager.

I'm probably doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out. Please help...

https://imgur.com/a/Hdm24t2 here's an imgur link with what my BIOS shows for the M.2 location - all 3 slots are listed as being taken by the SanDisk SSD that was originally installed. But I just installed a new SSD into the M2C slot. My old SSD has been in the M2A slot since I first built the PC.

do I need to do something in BIOS to get the newly installed SSD to be detected?

Hardware:

Mobo - AORUS B550 Master

New SSD (installed in the M2C slot): inland QN450 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe 4.0 X4 SSD
