Gathering vs hunting dragonbone relic

Has anyone here needed to farm a ton of dragonbone relics? How did you do it?

I know you can get them from some bonepiles with a very low chance, so even with geologist it takes a lot of time.

I also realized there's some quests that may give it to you as a reward, but it seems kind of inconsistent, I'm not sure if it's about difficulty level, hunted monster or tempered/no tempered. Monsters like G. Doshaguma taking less than 3 minutes to kill might be a good option unless another monster with a little longer hunts drop more bones

Already had the same problem with novacrystals but it solved itself with the Gypceros drops, not the same luck with the bones.

Does anyone know if there's some database for the quest and the chance/quantity of rewards? I remember using kiranico for this time of stuff for world but looks like the information isn't complete for Wilds.
