Me and a buddy have been building an app to make our online football game franchise experience more enjoyable that does a few things like generate storylines (offseason gains, career altering injuries, sudden decline, and more), predict prospect overalls, memorialize your favorite players, and track your franchise progress. It just is supposed to make a few new things happen to avoid the constant linear progression system and keep things a bit more challenging and interesting.
