Asking for help for my mom and sisters

I am not really sure if this is appropriate, but if not please delete!

My great grandma passed away, and my mom is having a hard time paying for the flights, she has to pay for my little sisters to fly as well.

It’s honestly a significant amount of money ($1500) and I just can’t afford to help her being that I had to pay for my daughter and I to fly which was over 1K for myself and a toddler.

I feel really bad because most of my immediate family is just living paycheck to paycheck check to get by. So there isn’t really anyone to ask for help, I want my mom to be able to go and my sisters especially bc this is really the only time that my whole entire family will be together.

When I was younger we used to do family reunions so the whole family who take a road trip there and others would fly in from all across the states. But that’s probably 15 years ago and they just don’t do them anymore. So this is really like a one time opportunity for all of to grieve together and be together.

Like I said I don’t know if this is aloud, it’s not something I’ve ever done before but just figured it wouldn’t hurt to try.
