1970 New York Pop Festival

In the Hear My Train A Comin’ DVD, there are a couple of shows provided as bonus footage features. One of which is what was on hand of the NYC Pop Festival of 1970… So for starters, I know that this festival was already absolutely insane to begin with, with regard to warring factions wanting to be paid, many groups thinking it should be a free show, etc. And of course Jimi and Mitch are shown plenty, understandably… however, Billy Cox is practically absent. I mean, if you didn’t know better, you’d think that this was some sort of White Stripes-sort of set up of just a guitar and drums… so does anyone know why so little is shown of Billy Cox?? They never show his body, just his face on a few - and I do mean a few - occasions… It is very, very strange.
