help deciding on a model

I’m stuck between 3 options

1. macbook air 13” M4 base 256, 16gb
2. macbook air 15” M4 512, 24gb
3. macbook air 13” M5 512, 16gb

option 1 is £350 cheaper, though options 2 and 3 are pretty much the same price, which one do I go for as a first time user of macOS?

is there a major difference between the m4 and m5 chip and does the 24gb offset that difference?
