Oddities shops and cool things to do in San Diego

If anyone is into oddities, plants and natural history Artifacts and Artichokes on Mission Gorge in San Diego has bug specimens, NFS antique taxidermy, fossils and a gallery of antique objects- some things are not for sale but for the vibe. They will source what you want if you are interested in a oddity that is part of the permanent collection/decor tho. Go to the Pop Up Markets during Halloween there is always a tarot reader and local makers. You can also check out the new craft brewery next door that hosts pop up food tents.

I also like to go to the Oddities Expo when they are in town, Gold Dust Collecitve, Sea Hive and sometimes antique stores will have the weird, obscure item to put on the shelf. What are your favorite shops that are independently owned and carry stuff you can put in a cabinet of curiosities?
