What phone to get my dad

hi,

im planning to surprise my dad with a new phone sometime this year. he currently has my old Samsung phone from 2021 and desperately needs an upgrade (even tho he won’t admit it 😅) I’m honestly no good and have been out of the android game for a few years so desperately nee advice.

this is something he won’t be expecting and I have a max budget of €400. he really needs a phone that has a good battery, runs all his apps e.g fantasy football etc and he does like taking photos (but no the most important thing as he uses my mirror less for this for)

any advice 😊
